About Me
I am formerly known as Ms. Koepke around school. I got remarried in November to a wonderful man, Paul, and became Mrs. Cobaugh.
I am a native Texan and grew up in Dallas, Texas. I received my degree in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University in 1984 . I have two wonderful children. My daughter graduated from A&M in 2011. She and her husband are living in Houston and had their first baby on July 31!! His name is Dawson and he is PERFECT! My son graduated in 2014, also from A&M (I guess you could say we are die-hard Aggies), and is working here is San Antonio! This is my 16th year teaching third grade at Stone Oak and I love it! I am so grateful to be teaching in such a warm, nurturing school. In my spare time I love spending time with my family, shopping, traveling (preferably to the beach!), and just plain relaxing!! |
Third grade is a huge transition year. This is the year where they become more independent and responsible. I put a lot of emphasis on responsibility....THEIR responsibility, not yours! My goal as your child's teacher this year is obviously to teach them the 3rd grade skills, but more importantly to me is to help them become the best they can be. I hope to inspire and encourage students to strive for greatness. I expect students to come to school (on time), prepared, focused, and ready to put forth their best effort.
I enjoy forming relationships to show my students that I care about them as a person. I love hearing about their accomplishments outside of school as well. Educating a child is a team effort and I look forward to working with you to make this year the best for your child! |
